the SN95 body style is heavier than the new edge by a few hundred pounds...
I think thats the other way around...
from Edmunds.com....the only one thats a few hundred pounds heavier is the 03/04 Cobra which is a pig.

1998: 3227 lbs.
2000: 3242 lbs.
2004: 3347 lbs.

I've always seen my car rated around 3350lbs. and the new edge around 3200lbs.

Per autotrader:
1998: 3393 lbs
2001: 3273 lbs

I believe the mach1 DOHC is the '01 Cobra engine.

yes 94. the Fox was like 3100lbs and why it was killing Chevy. Idk why the stang is so heavy , They could make more of it fiberglass.

Yea , i have nice interior. If i had cloth seats , nasty brown on black or red interior id GUT it , maybe get 140lbs off at the most tho []

the 01 cobra engine was not the same as the mach. they are very similar 4v engines, but have alot of different internal componets i believe. the mach motor is noticabley stronger.
