I have gotten at best 260 miles with one tank of gas. I did it just to see how much I could get if I drive like a grandma...god did that hurt!

Whether I'm hauling *** from a stop or setting cruise control, I get 20-22 mpg in my mach. I always fill up at 1/2 tank. I haven't done anything to my car except put in a K&N air filter and run a full synthetic (not sure if this does anything for MPG). My car rarely sees anything above 3k rpm, though...this might help.

Other factors that may contribute are that I usually follow speed limits and don't encounter a lot of stop and go driving due to my work hours.

225 or around 18mpg is what I get with 4.10's and an automatic. Predator tuned and adding a PYPES catted X pipe and catback that I hope will add 2 mpg so I can get 20 with a mix of driving conditions. mark

And when you think about it, you don't have to hammer it to get down the block.

I think the most i ever got was 305 for a full tank of gas and that was with driving like a grandmom and a mix of highway and city with the windows down. the fastest speed i saw was like 60mph and i coasted a lot when i could. I know the cars not for gas mileage but it wasnt so bad when i baught it 3 and 1/2 years ago. Gas wasnt really a factor. I love Mustang nonetheless though

I'm getting about 360-380 miles to a tank, and that's driving back and forth to work 11 miles each way, the car isn't even warm until I'm half way to work. And it's city driving with about two miles of 70 mph expressway driving. Pretty good, I'm interested to see what I'll get on a long trip, never done one with this car.
