p.i. head swap

is it necessary to put your stock cam sproket in place of the one that allready comes on the heads. for example i have a 96 mustang gt and i have heard that i need to take the 2001 cam sproket off of the new 2001 heads and replace it with my stock 96 cam sproket because there is a 1 or 2 tooth difference or somthing like that

hehe lol, while it was kinda rude the question woulda been better answered in the 4.6 forum

Naw....b96gt is a good friend..i was just messing with him!

I was the one that told him bout the cam gears......(just dose'nt seem to beleive me).
But it is just a theroy ...seeing how his runs funny and mine was spot on!

I think we are gonna switch his out this weekend some time after graduation. It couldnt hurt anything.....Mine ran great!!!!!!! And thats what I did.
