ORIGINAL: mdvaldosta

If Im not mistaken their articles showed that the 70mm combo netted substantially better gains across the curve and more peak hp than the 75mm unit. Don't be tricked into the "bigger is better" game. A 70mm setup flows MORE air than all but the wildest NA engines can use, so going to a larger throttle body will NOT lead to more airflow into the engine, as a matter of fact it will decrease the cylinder filling capabilities because of the reduced air velocity.

A 75mm helps forced induction engines more than a 70mm because they don't need velocity - the air is gettin forced into the engine.
*****APPLAUSE****** i was in the middle of typing that same statement and i looked at the thread again and saw that you put it in better words...

you could change that 12.9 to a lower 12 if you sell the stero stuff and get some drag suspension, pullies, heads, cams, etc......

Ya sounds good. Let me know how it goes. I have it set up where I can remove my stereo equipment in five. o minutes when I get to the track. Those are the same speakers I have. They THUMP! When I bought my car, I got the base model. I don't even have the 460.

Go with 70mm throttle body and Trick Flow Plenum. According to the tech support at Summit Racing, 75mm is too much unless you have internal engine work done.
