huum soo u think i wont be able to put it to the ground? well i hopeing to be in the high 13s with these mods. just dont really get why u think i cant put the power to the ground. so u think if stock i can do 14.0 that i wont beable to get into the 13s with more hp because im going to spinn too much? well let me know what everyone thinks and it will be a few weeks before i get to the track cause im still waiting on a few of the mods because of outa stock reasons.

Sorry about the blank reply, its really hard to get these Mustangs to run good(Under 2.0) 60 foot times on stock tires at MOST tracks, how much drag race experience do you have?

seems like these cases are driver error nothing to do with the car. i mean look at z28s doin 13s on factory tread. they put out stock hp of a lil over 300. so your tellin me there not gonna get 13s because they are gonna spin. not everyone needs DRs to get a good time you just have to know how much to give the car with out spinning. so i guess what u guys are sayin witch is a no brainer that if i can get 14.0 stock with these mods ill be in the high 13s. but what i wanna know is how low into the 13s i could possably get if i did get good traction. thanx for the honest replys
You can't compare your car to a Z28. Z28's have a FAR SUPERIOR suspension than a GT has. Weight transfer is awesome on F-bodies.

You'll find out yourself that your going to need to do something about your tires. You are on the edge of your traction limit on stock tires with a STOCK motor, these extra little mods are gonna send you home cursing yourself for even trying.

I have made like 6 passes with my car, al at different rpm launches and if I roll off the clutch at anything above 2500 rpms I just spin like crazy. Im going to invest in some Nitto 555R extreams pretty soon!

If you are looking for maximum traction, go with BF Goodrich Comp TA, they are FAR SUPERIOR. Personally, I have used both brands and my BFG's were so much better I found it funny that people even bothered with Nitto's. IMO...

Dan is correct, my BFG's turn over once then hook, hard, even on a 3 grand dump!

BUT, if you are strapped for cash and need to do a 'budget' radial (I should of said this originally) the Nitto's will outlast the BFG's by a couple thousand miles.

I got about 13,000 miles out of my Nitto's and about 10,000 miles with my BFG's. But I abused the livin' CRAP out of my BFG's, I had so much fun with those tires! Also, BFG's do not need to be heated, they need a quick spin to have any debri cleaned off and they are ready to grip and snap your neck.

I see everyone who has tried the 2 tires say the Nittos lasted longer but didn't provide good traction as the BFG's. I didn't quite abuse the Nitto's as hard as the BFG's...

I paid $170 apiece, you can probably do a little better and they do wear fast, but they hook hard when you run em at 15 PSI.
