That is a very good question. I'm sure it would be a bitch to steer with a manual rack.

id go with less width , it can be harder to turn with wide tires up front.

yeah my suspension is tubular. i think you can put 295 on a 9 in. i wonder if you can stick a 10.5 wheel up front
According to Kumho, 295/40/17 for 10-11.5 rims.

My 275s rub up front at full turn...so I can only imaging what a 295 would do. And...I have 315s on my 9" rims out back...and they bulge like crazy...so a 295 is going to bulge too. I don't see how a 295 up front is going to help you at all.

315 on a 9" wide wheel? Woah... and I thought I was pushing it with a 295 width tire on a 10" wheel [&:]

Yea...its pretty bad. The previous owner of the wheels did it though...I'll be getting 17x10.5's and 335s eventually

Think about it though guys..

You can fit a 275 BARELY on a stock wheel, why wouldn't you be able to put something that is 20mm more on a wheel that's an inch wider??

I don't know about 10.5's up front though.. You'd need to get either some hefty hub-centric wheel spacers and longer studs, or redesign the steering knuckle/hub assy to accept such a gigantic rim/tire...

What do the Saleen S281E's run for tire size up front??
