Hey guys my ABS light was coming on like a month ago but would go off and stay off for like a week everytime i shut the car off. Now yesterday it came on as soon as the started the car and stays on. I can tell there is no ABS now when i aply the brake because it is oviously not working. What is wrong what does the light mean? If i choose to ignore it and just use the regular brake will i hurt anything?

sounds like there isnt enough air in your Air Brake System! HA HA HA... just a little humor! You may really have air in the system. Have you recently changed your brakes and didnt bleed them or does the pedal feel weird?

Everything feels good. When i had ABS it was kinda feeling weird when i hit the brake somtimes but nothing really wierd. Now that the light it on i love it no abs im not really a fan of it anyway unless there is snow on the ground

well I would get it checked anyhow. There is nothing to guarentee they wont just lock up at 80 mph out on a crowded highway. Better to be safe than sorry, right?

the abs system quits working on the slightest problem as a safety thing. from low brake fluid to a dirty or damaged abs sensor. if you ignore it it wouldnt hurt anything in itself (as in no abs), but it could be a sign of another problem.

Yeah my abs light when on when i got my tires balanced etc, had to take it back. It's extremely sensitive to anything and everything.
