Default procharger to nos again!!!

once again im in conflicting thoughts of what i should get, i want the procharger but laying down 4k gets me thinking, nitrous would be more cost effective but probably more in the long run after filling bottle after bottle, what would you guys do if your a college student on a limited budget, is it better to save for the procharger or for the time being get a plate system? if nitrous is there any kit that mounts the bottle somewhere else than the truck because i have a sound system in there, like a concealed kit??? any help is appreciated

how did you plan on paying for either? if you got the cash in had, s/c it. if you can only afford a NOSystem, then do that. DOnt be studpid enough to rack up 4-5gs on a credit card when you are in school, working or not. i have been there and shot myself in the foot more than once.

Id say go with the s/c but to do it right you also need 75 mm tb & upper intake, injectors, cai, MAF, and tuner. It gets REALLY expensive. Nitrous is good but, like you said, you have to fill bottle after bottle. A good s/c can give you over 100 additional hp and to get more than a 100 shot of nitrous can be hard on your engine over time. The best (safest) way to go is with direct port nitrous injection, which is also the most costly . . . . . to do it right either way its expensive.

yea, i think im going to go with the nitrous because i dont want to shoot myself in the foot, im paying cash, i cant see myself saving and droping 4k for a s/c. i just need a good system to go with. nitrous express or nos, venom, etc,etc

Procharger. . . FTW!!!

How long does nitrous last? Like how many 1/4 pulls can you get out of a bottle? With like a 125 shot?
Im selling my truck for a procharger. But I am thinking about NOS. Can a N20 bottle be filled with CO2 and used with a spray bar to cool the intercooler after the supercharger install?
