Ok, so my mind is going crazy thinking about all the money i can lovingly dump into my mustang.... Bassani exhaust with MGW short throw to P&P heads with blower cams and a kb 1.7 and on and on and on....So...is all that possible? AND MOST IMPORTANTLY... Is all that worth it? I know i want more power and my ultimate goal is to eventually put the 1.7 on there, but in our ever enduring quest for more power NOW, I was thinking about the heads and cams. Will the 1.7 work with these adjustments? Would i need to switch cams when i go from n/a to blown? Just some performance questions that are haunting my nights

the kb 1.7 will work with those adjustments. You dont have to switch heads and cams when you are going from n/a to blown but it would just be that much more hp.
you going to be getting close to the limits of the stock engine depending. Forge the engine, do the heads , cams, and the other stuff you was planning and get the kb2.2. just a thought, more expense though

Well you might be SOL on the 1.7...They probably aren't going to make the anymore. You might just have to go with a 2.1[sm=happy046.gif]

They are going to stop making the 1.7?? why? Isn't the 2.1 overkill on the 2v?

They've bored it out and possibly added a new compressor. They're getting rid of the 2.2 and 2.4 as well. The 2.1 still has the 1.7 case so it'll fit under the stock hood.
