Default Just installed my MGW short shifter!

This thing rocks! Installation wasn't too bad. The only problem I had which has nothing to do with the MGW was that my boot was torn a little so I couldnt get the rubber ring around it. Took me about 45 minutes.

I love it. The MGW felt really weird at first because it's such a big change from the stock P.O.S. It feels like I have a whole new tranny now.

It's really stiff and the throws are extremely short. I have the handle set at the perfect position.

I plan on ordering myself one of these in the future... nice to hear that everything went well. Just more assurance for me that getting one of those is worth it[sm=happy046.gif]

Did you take advantage of the 360degree handle rotation? Glad to see you like your MGW...

Yes. At first I had the handle straight but it was a little awkward and wasn't comfortable so I turned it a little towards me and now I don't have my arm sticking way out to shift.

I'm about 5' 11" and I have long arms so I don't like having to bow my arm to shift. After rotating the handle towards me, it's perfect. It's sitting at the perfect height too.
