Default Problem with Steeda STS...

When I power shift into 3rd at say 5500 rpms, it won't shift into third it just stops! I can't get it to engage and it is really starting to aggrevate me! Anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

First off, I don't do it often, I do it occasionally.

Even if I don't stay on the gas, and I still shift hard, its the same result. I can't get into third.

Answer the question or don't reply.

Is it just 3rd you are having problems with? Or are 1st and 5th hard to engage too... Either way try adjusting the stop screw out.

Well, back to the original question, what year is the car, do you know if it has a 3650 trans in it.

yeah that is what i was thinking as well, give it a little more room to get in there. I had mine adjusted too close and would sometimes not go in during normal driving. I adjusted it and it is fine now.

and lighten up on the answer or dont reply. That is a great way to get no info in the future. this is a message board, people will voice opinions.
