Default Intake Manifold

i was wondering with the pi swap could i do the intake manifold first and then wait a while and do the rest or do i need to do it all a once? also what all do i need to do the intake swap and how hard is it?

I just got done with my PI swap, I would do it all at once (if you can live without your car for a while) and get it over with. With heads, your going to want to replace the head bolts (approx $100 @ ford dealership). Can't remember what else you may need (Don't WANT to remember).

You can do the swap without doing the heads. The intake will bolt up with the PI heads on, but with your heads you have to make some modifications. There is a guy named(I think) droptopony, who seems to be the expert as to where to find tech threads on this, and so on. You want to give him a pm.

Shoot me a PM and i'll hook you up with info about doing the intake swap with pictures etc. They block the link to the website with the how to's and pics and it gets annoying having to keep posting the pics here everyday....

took us a little over 2 weeks, just because if one thing goes wrong, you may need to order a part, here and there, blah blah blah... Should have only have taken 2-3 whole days, but you never know.
