Hey guys I just ordered some loudmouth 1s from mustang tuning. This is the first mod that's being done to my 00gt, so I was wondering if I can expect any hp gain (I know it will be insignificant, but around how much?).

Thanks guys, I'll post some pics when I get them and have them on.

Yea I know, I'm not looking for any big gains. I'm just curious if it'll be like 2 or 6 or something. I'm not really doing much to the car so what I am doing I get curoius about, even if I won't notice it.

You will obviously notice a significant difference in sound and your times will be reduced. However, true gains in horsepower numbers will be very minor, as you said.
It will feel and sound like a lot, but the actual number gain will be small. Don't worry about it, because you are after the sound, right?

Of course, that's what basically everyone is after. Like I said, I don't plan on really doing anything because I don't go to the strip, it's my daily driver, and needs to last long so I baby it. Doesn't mean the occassional street race isn't out, they're fun if they're safe. But with all that being said I don't expect to compete againt any fast cars on the street since I know what a stock mustang can and can't do.

The LMI's will have you smiling ear to ear. Installation is very easy. The only hard part is taking the original exhaust off. On a 2002 we all had to cut the welded exhaust behind the mufflers because it won't come out in one piece. I don't know if the 2000 will be any different.
Do you have your next mod planned already. Once you start you can't stop. It's not allowed!

I don't really have any mods planned except maybe some appearance things. It's my first car (bought it myself, amazing deal) and I'd love to do stuff to make it faster (who wouldn't) but I don't really know much about udner the hood stuff. So basically m ylack of knowledge, and money are keeping me from that. I'm more than happy with what I have and once I get the exhaust, I'll be on cloud nine. I'll leave the racing to my friends with an 06 gto and 06 srt8 charger...rich kids....
