What tires is everyone running on their GT's?
Hey... I just wanted to see what brand of tires everyone favors or has on their stangs right now. I've always been a fan of Goodyear, but they are pretty pricey and for 18" rims, they are alot of $$$. I'm running Faulken's right now and they seem to be pretty good tires. I haven't had any issues with them and got them for a nice price. Post what your running on yours.

245/45/17 on the front and back of my GT for now.
I just purchased 17" 10.5 FR500's for the rear, and 17" 9 for the front.
lizzyfan are the 275-40's a wide tire. Will they fit well on 10.5" wheels, or should I go with the 315-35's. I was thinking about keeping the 245-45 for the front on the 17"*9's.

Im running Hankooks on my mustang. The wear a little fast for me but thats prolly cause of burnouts. There about $100 a tire installed. Not to bad i like them.

On my ranger front 235/45/17 Michelin pilot, rear 255/50/17 Michelin Pilots OR 275/40/17 BFG drag radials. On my stang Dunlop Sp8000's all the way around.

275's will fit on a 10.5in rim, but it'll be a bit on the smaller side.. 9in rim is I believe the smallest "RECOMMENDED," size, however people have been able to get them on the stocker w/ no problems..
That's almost like a 245 on a 9in will be fine, but a little on the smaller side (little to no sidewall bulge).
I can't remember the link for the tire size calculator, but it's there. All you do is plug in the dimensions you have, and they give you all the compatible sizes up and down..
