Default Headers: Short or Long Tubes?

I have a borla catback and want to upgrade the rest of my exhaust system. What is the best setup for sound and power? Should I go with long or short tube headers and X or H pipe. I would go with the H pipe based on other posts for stock or short tube header for the deeper sound, but what about LT's? Any advise would help. With or without brand names.

Honostly if I knew what I know now. I would get mid length headers... I lose so much ground clearance with my longtubes and mide pipe... I bottom out on driveways, and speed bumps.. Which rips the clamp off my mid-pipe to cat back off. Then I have to hammer it back on... Its sooooo aggrivating. I have 3" of ground clearance. But yet my side skirts and front bumber is 7" off the ground. I want to lower my car more, but my exhaust will be like an 1" off the ground. I eventaully want to get rid of my longtubes and install a mid length or shorty pipe.. I can deal with the loss of 15 hp or so, its worth it to me to not have to deal with the aggrivation. And not being able to lower my car anymore... But for the best power and sound longtubes are the way to go... But be advised of what my complants are.....

Get Long Tube Headers and a Shorty H Pipe.

I recommend BBK for the Long Tube Headers and any midpipe. Shorty headers dont give you any power, Long tubes give u a lot more.

LONGTUBES, the power and sound i gained was great. Longtubes make your car sound much deeper (unless that was the dr.gas xpipe)

What brand do you have? Are all LT's that low?

I dont want to tuck my tires in the fender.. I just want to elliminate the gap between my tires and fenders. I still have an 1 1/2" gap. Even with Eibach pro kit springs. See I still have a large gap.. Now it just looks like any other stock car and not a 4x4.

what if you go with 18's? I think they would fit your fender in nicely.
