Starting problem / SES light
Yesterday, I had my SES light removed (which was the result of the offroad X-pipe) by Autozone. I thought that was the end of it, but today my engine acted a bit funky after gassing the stang up a bit; it would start right up, the rpm's would climb a bit like normally, then droop back down and the engine would die. It did this twice and on the third time I aided the start with a little bit of gas and the engine ran fine.
However....
The light came back on. I know that it's normal for a Mustang engine to be a bit sluggish starting up after sitting for just a few minutes, however, this was a bit strange. I checked the trouble codes and got "dtc5284" which means "Oil pressue switch failure"... Could this be contributing to the problem?
