Dont take me the wrong way, but the reason that your rates are higher than older people is cuz you all get into more accidents... you may be the exception, but more mods, more racing, etc... you might just get into an accident that is your fault an that would cost you more than your projected savings...

im 18 and i pay 1050 in 6 months on my gt. i was thinking about switching to just liability which covers the state minuim here in IL. my rates will drop to less than half about 400 in 6 months.
i know the risks that just having liability but at that rate ill pay for the car in a few years and i fell im just throwing money away.
just wanted to know if u guys have full coverage or labality?

stick with the full coverage man, im 18 as well and i pay alittle more than taht but i have 2 stangs but its well worth it, if you get in a accident there goes all your money for more mods, then you will be spending the money on
making your car look right again, try allstate insurance they are pretty good i get a student discount and if your accident free for a period of time you get your rates dropped alot. trust me stay with full coverage

19 yrs old
one speeding ticket
and waiting to go up next year because i got one more speeding ticket this year and another one for driving with my headlights off at night(couldn't tell with all the lights in the city, just had my parking lights on didn't realize i didn't pull the lamp switch all the way out)
