Default BBK Underdrive Pulleys!

Are BBK underdrive pulleys the non-piggyback stlye or the piggy back style. I like the looks of them and are hoping they will be worth the money. Also what changes would I have to make or are they a direct bolt on? Do I have to change the belt?

Well, I'm not quite sure if BBK's are piggyback, I believe so. But Steeda is the best and they aren't piggyback. They wont give you much that you will notice, maybe a few more horses and 1-2 more miles per gallon. You just bolt them onto your existing pullies. I doubt that you'll need to change anything but I'm not sure.

Anyone else know if you need anything else besides the UDPs when installing them? You need an impact wrench for the altenator pulley, but if you take it off then you can take it to a mechanic and have them take it off for you.

I would say, don't waste your money with udp's altogether. I personally think it's a waste of $200.00. Just pay a midpipe, then you will be satisfied. I would do udp's as one of last bolt ons, after you have nothing else to do.

Will someone explain to me the difference between piggyback and non-piggyback UDP's?

Piggy backs is your crank pully Once you pull it off (which you will need a tool for ) you bold the new smaller crank pully up to your stock one hence piggy back. I unfortunaly have them. I have the MARCH pullies. When I bought them I didnt know there was a difference so oh well for me. Its fairly easy as long as you have a impact gun for the alternator pully and a crank dampner pully I think thats what its called, like 20 bucks at Auto parts store.
