Yes I have Flowmaster and i am die hard with it, if it was my choice to do it all over i would have gotten bassanni. They sound so mean, the best exhaust i have ever heard. But since your budget is limited definitely go with the Flows and O/R H i have heard sound clips and they sound real nice with the H. The SLP sounds ok imo but without changing the midpipe i wouldnt do the slp because you are only going to get so much sound out of them, due to the restriction of your stock mid pipe.

DOES ANYONE AGREE WITH ME ON THIS?

JGAULT Go here and decide for yourself...they have sound clips of different set ups. just click on the brand and then click hear it now on the clip you would like to hear

http://www.mustangexhaust.com/forums...ps.php?catid=5

there is a clip like this:
Submitted by NINO

2001 GT: Flowmaster Delta 40 Mufflers
Mid-pipe: BBK Off-Road H-pipe
Headers: Stock

I think that sounds mean. but i also think exhaust is a preference to what your ears want. so go there and listen to the flows and then listen to some slp's

SLP Clip ALlso Submitted by NINO

2003 GT: SLP Loud Mouth Cat-back

Mid-pipe: Stock H-pipe
Headers: Stock
Notes: Launch

This clip imo sounds like a piece of crap. but it depends what you like in your exhaust sound, that is just my opinion and everyone has their own

good luck let me know if this helped you out

by the way i dont think the h pipe with or without cats has a huge difference. they are about the same sound and the cats on you really dont lose too much hp either maybe a few. they really dont bother too much

Go with the Flowmasters. There's nothing better than that good ol' muscle car sound. I know someone with the Loudmouths 1 and the SLP O/R X-Pipe.... IT'S THE LOUDEST EXHAUST I'VE EVER HEARD. ... I've never heard ANYTHING like it. It's just crazy how loud it really is. The Flowmasters give Mustangs that mean, aggressive sound they were meant to have.

I just got my slp lm1 catback on the other day and I love it. Well worth the money imo. Just the right aggressive tone I was looking for. I'm keeping stock headers and midpipe so that's why lm1 was my choice. If you plan on only getting a catback then go with the lm1s....but if you want a different midpipe then there are better choices.
