A friend of mine just got back from the sandbox and has some money. He had 2 ideas. 1 buy a low mileage 03-04 cobra or buy a 05 06 gt and super charge it somewhere down the line. Which do you think would be faster?

I would get an 04 cobra supercharged. I think that would also be cheaper to make more power.

it would be cheaper to get the 03 cobra s/c..but both cars are nice and would get 2nd looks..cobra is more rare though.

plus if u get the cobra...it will already be s/c rather than waiting a while or however long ur planning to wait to s/c the gt

ok but what if money did not matter? would he be able to get more horses out of the 06 or the cobra cause it is dohc? also what about not having a roots style blower on the 06 but a centrifugal supercharger on it? or would he get more horses out of the centrifugal on a cobra? i guess which has more horse power potential?

Well, if money wasn't an issue, either car could be made more powerful than the other, or anything else on the road for that matter. Corvette? Who needs it. Of course, if money really wasn't an issue I'd go for a Shelby Cobra 427 replicar...

tell him to get a GT and twin turbo charge that bad boy. or tell him about the saleen extremes, i have only seen like 2 of those.
