Squeaking noise while at Idle?
Sup guys. I've been reading up on most of the comments made and sounds like you guys have been around the block a few times on knowing what's up, so here goes....2000 GT Stage 1....At idel I notice a squeaking noise? The previous owner had the throughout bearing recently replaced (while under warranty). Since then it's out of warranty and I'm wondering if it needs replaced again, already???
Thanks,

It's just stock, no mods as of yet. I have only had a a month. As I let it warm up, it has a constant chirping noise from the motor. I was thumbing through some of the paper work and that was one of the complaints the previous owner had when the replaced the t/o bearing, so wanted to ask if it could possibly be that again.

Step 1 -- sitting in the car..idling...listen for the noise, then step on the clutch. If it goes away its probably the throwout bearing. Do this first then let me know....

Well, I did as you requested and the noise isn't present when the clutch is engaged. Why the hell after only 2,700 miles is it ready to be replaced????
Thanks for the info!
