i think you will be disappointed with stage 1 lope, if that is what you are after. I have full bassani exhaust which is quiet at idle imo, and the cams arent that noticable. You will notice over stock of course, but if you are looking for that big lopey, go at least stage 2.

Your not going to hear much lope with stage 1's, you can really only get that sound directly behind the car. Once you move to the side of the car, you can hardly notice any lope. Do the stage 1's and just dont expect to hear alot of lope.

i dont know what half of you are talking about, but i just put in vt stage one cams two days ago and lope is def noticable. Im not saying is super lopey, but its a good lope. I love the sound.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of stage 1 vs. stage 2 cams on a close to stock car such as mine? or a car with no internal engine work?

If I were you, I would go with CAMS. Your car looks nice already. Add the look additions later.

the cam video on the link is my car and that is a stage one ...i definently gets cams they are great my car feels more powerful from every RPM and the top end is very strong they are very lopey but you can tell it is cammed i heard that with longtubes the lope will really come out and that is a good install price i installed mine myself they really arent that hard if you've got a couple days
