Default 315/35/17 on a 17x9

A 315/35/17 on a 17x10.5 wheel on a Cobra will fit without rolling fender lips, correct?

I need to purchase some rear tires for inspection in the next week.

This is a joke right? Or are serious you want to put a 315 on a 9 inch wheel...

I have a friend with a 03 cobra. He had to get 295/35/R17 wheels on his. Because he says there is a bolt on the independent suspension that will hit the tire otherwise. I have read somewhere that you can grind the bold down or get a smaller bot of something. But I think you can only fit 295's. I have 315s on my car, I have a solid axle though. But as much as everyone says you dont need modifications. My tires scrape the fenders, not all the time, just when I am going up and entrance of a store or something where the axle rocks from one side to the other. And when I am carring things in my trunk and go over bumps on the highway I can hear my tires hit my fender. Or when I am very aggresive driving it hits. I need to roll my fender eventually. But I have goodyear Eagle F1's and they run wide for a the 315

^ What he said. Code had 335s in the back and said he didn't have to roll the fenders, but it had to be close.
