What was the Code, O2 BANK 1 Lean, or some other craziness like that??

A good way, if you've got time, pull some spark plugs out. If they are whitish, coated, then you're running real lean. If they look fine, just a little dirty, throw them back in, and keep looking...

O2 sensors, bad injectors, bad FPR/Filter, bad fuel pump, bad PCM/CCRM, bad gas, bad MAF can all cause Leaning...

It sounds like you may need to change out an O2 sensor.. Not too bad, but IIRC, Bank 1 is the upper-most one, and it can be a bitch to get at..

I've never swapped out the front O2's, only 1 of my rear ones...

+1 to o2 sensors, thats what the code is for. funny though, i had an o2 sensor pop out completely and didnt have a code. an exhaust leak before the front o2s will cause it to run a little lean. an intake or vacuum leak also.

probably not, evap emissions is in regards to the fuel vapors in the tank... you may have a line leak somewhere or a gas cap leak

I replaced the gas cap and pcv valve. The code went off for a couple months then came back...along with the code for running lean
