Default 2001 GT trunk!

Ya a thread about the trunk of my car! Well, I went to work out this morning like I always do and well I have to put my gym bag in the trunk because my gym clothes smell like garbage when I am done. so I took my shower *pics available ladies* j/k and got into my work clothes. I am always tired and sore when I leave and so I went to my trunk and finally got pissed off at how hard it is to open my trunk. Yes, I can open it but the hydraulics on it makes it very slow and difficult to open since I could barely pick up my keys. Anyone else’s trunk hard to open. I think I am going to take off the hydraulics just to make it easier, would that cause a problem? I don’t think it will but........never know.

I never had problem with mine. Maybe the force of gravity is greater in your area of residence then it is over in my town?

replace the hydraulics, i have had ones that went bad and it was a bear getting them open and then closing them again. Just my guess though.

I just had a idea.

take the hydualics off the trunk (there are 2 right?) and fab them up to open the hood! that would look sweet. im trying it tonight. ill get pics if it works. how heavy is the hood?
