Where do you live, Iraq? You should have no problem getting just to the car and not getting killed.
Seriously, though, you should never attempt to enter a fast moving car. Tell your dad that he can use the brake pedal to slow down a bit so you'll at least have a chance.
Even more seriously, though, it sounds like your dad doesn't trust you to drive safely. I'm not saying he's right, but maybe you gave him some reason to think that way. I knew a kid in high school who drove an old beat up truck that was lucky to get over 50 mph. For his seventeenth birthday, his parents bought him a brand new camaro. He raced that baby right into the front of a train.
Remember Back to the Future II, when Marty decides that he's not going to race that guy at the end of the movie even though he called Marty chicken? Yeah, barely missed the Rolls Royce.
Point is, you've got to find some way to show your dad that you have the maturity to handle that car. Or, show him that mustangs, unless heavily modified, are not the racing superbeasts that people would lead you to believe.

get a diablo or SCT and set the governor to 75 mph and get some 2.73 gears put in, maybe put something under the carpet so you cant push the pedal down all the way, or you should of bought a 6er
