Default RE: Lot's to ask!

So heres anouther good one. I call the local Advanced Auto center and ask if they have wires in stock and if so what kind. Here is the answer I get. "Sorry we can't get those in OEM for some reason" " I see they come in 3 other types, 4 valve, 16 valve, 32 valve, and 64 valve"

What the hell is this guy talking about. I asked him which ones I should use and he told me he dous not think any of them would work!

That's what you get in NE PA.

All I want is a set of friggen' wires. This is going to be an intresting hobby with people like him in my local parts store. THANK GOD FOR THE INTERNET!

first and foremost, go check your air filter, examine in, hold it up to some light, if you can barely see any light, replace it.

if that checks out fine..

i would replace the plugs + wires, cheap. unless by looking at them, they look brand spanking new. when i got my mustang, 99 4.6, w/ 42K, from a dealer, i got my fuel filter replaced shortly after, and they said it seemed like the orginal. fuel filters do filter a lot of crap out, so if yours is old, 20K+ miles, which you dont know since its new to you, thats another possibility.

also could be a tps issue, if your tps is just shot, and sending your ecm bad signals, which is more unlikely but does happen, you would feel bucking/surges and all types of nonsense.
