Default clutch installation

i got a clutch installation quoted by this shop near me that usually has the best prices around and he quoted me a 300 dollar installation/labor charge. for all u others who had clutches installed is this a normal price jst to put one in my car. thanks

that's a good price. A guy i know got a DEAL at 250 ,so 300 isn't bad. Make sur ethey resurface the flywheel too

what kinda clutch you gettin?

no thats a good price...1 shop quoted me at 385....untill 1 of my friends did it for 200

Ford racing King Cobra or Centerforce. Don't forget to buy Pilot bearing and throw out bearing they are cheap and should be replaced while you have the trans out.

dayum..for that price the dealer also replaced BOTH u-joints, rear main seal, tranny front retainer andseal, output shaft seal, and rear pinion seal... Your dealer is a rip off!

As for the Clutch...

Neocon - Ask what kind of warranty they give for their warranty/parts. I've been through three (going to be my fourth) Throw out bearing in less than a year. I haven't had to pay for anything since the initial install because of their warranty.
