Default VT cam question

I have done some research on their cams and it seems the stage 1 will
be fine with my PI heads, no PTV!!! I'm getting about 245 RWHP, what
kind of increase will I see at the wheels?

Did you do a re-tune after installation? How long did it take to install? Thanx.

i got 45rwhp but i put my headers on at the same time, so 20-25 is probably a good guess. Yes i had it tuned at that time (you will need to go to 91 at least).

i've seen a guy gain 33rwhp just from vt st 1's so 25 is the minimum you should gain.

i think it comes down to set up and tune. I lost a ton of tq down low, whereas i read an article that a similiar set up lost almost none. I have said repeatedly that i had a tuner that apparently was just guessing at stuff.

Does anyone think 245 RWHP is low. I was hoping the head swap would produce better numbers. Makes me think I just wasted a lot of money.

Thanks for the info!!!!
And no, 245 is decent as 96-98's only are known for about 185-195 rwhp before swap.
