98 Tuner work on a 97

A friend wants me to buy his 98 Diablo tuner, but im unsure if it will work with my 97 GT. Will it work?

i don't see why it would not as long as its returned back to normal..ie: he returns his car to stock tune and loads the diablo tune back into it...i would call a diablo dealer to confirm.
