I think BFG's also, but earlier posts are correct, they are so soft they pick up alot of stones etc. If you are at a track that requires a drive through grass etc they will need a quick burnout to clean. Who can resist anyway? I have about 15 passes with good burnouts on mine and about 1500 miles and they are still pretty good. They turn over once then hook, hard. I am getting 1.9 60 foot which I think is pretty good with 3;73's.

Kumho MX esta. Best rated all around drag radial. Decent life, great dry traction, nice water displacement. I have them and its hard to get the rears to break loose now. Get atleast 275s on the rears with stock rims. if you get 10 inch wide rims, go all out and get 305s or 315s. I mean, I really have to dump the clutch to get them to spin.

hey everyone. i have heard that newer stangs have alot of trouble hookin up when the car is floored. And wherever i heard that the were completely right, lol. I was wondering if getting some wider tires would help. i have a 04 mach and it spinns like a b****. I was noticing how it seemed like the tires on the mach were alot skinnier than the tires my 02 firehawk. what size tires should i get if it would help?and should i get et streets or et drags? and im not goin to be puttin on tires everytime i go to the track so count that in too. and plus i should be gettin my 4.10's in tomorrow and a steeda tri axe shifter here pretty soon. thanks for the help guys.

You also need a suspension upgrade. Get some lower control arms. I have them w/ 275 Nittos and my friend w/ an 03' mach1, w/ 4:10's, has them also. Couple them w/ wider rear tires, preferably drag radials, and you will be in business!

Most any Mustang aftermarket parts company sells them, they are also known as Upper & Lower LCA's.

Probably cost you between 150 - 300, depending on the make, and then you have to install them. I have the Roush set which are awesome, you can also get them from Steeda, Saleen, KB, etc.
