Default OoHh Kenne!

im looking at saving up for a Kenne Bell Big Bore Intercooled Supercharger. Running it around 9 psi. THe price list says 4999.00.
Whats you guys' input on this selection?

that's where my money is going next summer. I already have the money but my winter car that my brother is driving might crap the bed on me...

Unless you want a roots style charger, you can get a Prochager almost $1500 cheaper at 10 psi.

yea i know i really like procharger too but i really like the way a KB looks sittingon top of a 4.6

now im kinda new to 4.6's. is the 04 bottom end at all forged? if so..what parts? if not...what would be the best to start out getting forged? i.e. pistons..crank..rods

The stock rotating assembly is weak.. Well the rods and the pistons are weak. You can only really withstand 450hp at the crank safely. Yes I know there are people running 450-500rwhp but there motors will eventually break, its only a matter of time. Its not worth the extra bit of power to have you car break unexpecticly. Buy a new short block or new rods and pistons, which evers cheaper. Then buy a supercharger and you will have no worries of breaking it. Well until a point. But remember centrifical superchargers are much different that root and twin screw superchargers. Apples and oranges

The GTs, none, Manual Mach Is have forged cranks, Cobra's have forged crank rod and pistons.
