I just used the sealent provided with the MGW. Maybe I should get a shifter gasket to reduce noise even further. Does it really make a difference?

Its not a luxury car, who cares about noise? I suggest investing in a louder stereo...

Just ordered the 3650 gasket from cobra bob. I plan to change out my transmission fluid later on this week. I figure I'll take out the shifter, fill through the shifter hole and install the gasket while I'm at it. I'll be sure to get back to you all on how the gasket works. The MGW shifter is already very quiet, if the gasket makes it even quieter then that would rock.
