Naw motor's locked up. Thing is I cant change it myself. You gotta take the window off to do the job. Found a gut who'll do it for $50 got the window motor at orieley's for $49 with core. Ford wanted $140 for the motor alone with 1yr warranty, Orieley's motor lifetime warranty ftw. BTW they are both oem seimens

This happend to me about 3 weeks after I bought my car. The motor on my driver side window went out. I had to tape up my car with plastic because I had the window down at the time. Took 3 days for me to find a motor.

The motor cost me about $100. I know this guy that does body work and he charged me $30 to put it in. I was standing there the whole time when he was replacing that motor and it was so much trouble to install. Took almost 2 hours of fiddling and I had to help hold the window up for him because it kept dropping when he adjusted the metal brackets. It's hard to get in the little tight spots of the door. We didn't remove the window to fix it.

He kept joking that he'd never replace a window motor in a stang again LOL. He was fishing 3/4 of the time.

I tried to do it myself (all day Sunday) and then I realized I'm gonna have to retint the drivers side door and my hand was cut (forearm 3 fingers) and I decide to pay somebody. The trick is the spring mechanism I couldnt line it up properly and you cant hold the glass and line it up by yourself[:@][:'(]

I had the exact same thing happen last week. Couldn't roll the window down...fortunately it was stuck closed.

I let it sit and 8 hours later...VOILA, worked.
