99+ have great flowing heads compared to the earlier models so dont go sinking a lot of money into that right away. I made the decision awhile ago that I am going to supercharge it and that has had an influence on the parts that I have bought. Figure out which road you are going to take, i.e. forced induction or N/A. That will narrow down what parts are going to be worth the time/money. Exhaust is a must on our cars but, like brockleew said, get the mid pipe as well.Since you have an AOD, I would recommend 4.10's in the rear. Take a look at torque converters too, it will help get power to your wheels. And the biggest area people dont think about (myself included) until much later in the game is suspension. You should stiffen your ride and plant the tires to the ground. Lower control arms and sub frames are a good way to get started. Hope this helped.

4.10 FRPP is a great idea. Went with them a little under a year ago, couldn't be happier. They will give you the biggest noticeable difference in driving. 500 bucks and you have a much better 1/4 mile time. The suspension is also a good place to start. Stiffen up the rear end and take out some unsprung weight... makes your launch a lot meaner.
