Actually its a DOHC motor. I just wanted to deviate from the constant mustang talk. I was amazed to find out ford built this, after I saw it on a TV show on the science channel. The motor was rated for 10 hours of wide open throttle and then it breaks. Still pretty crazy for ford to make that from the factory. Its something to gloat about to Evo and STi owners.....

When i first started to read this the first thought that came to my mind was a Mazda 323 GTX . I think the GTX was its predisesor(sp), but i'm not sure. Anyone know?

I just watched a TV show on this car. It came in 5th out of the top 5 rally cars. The reason it was 5th is because the engine only lasted 10hrs. That is why they had to make 200 of them. The lancer evo was next. The STI was in the top three, but I didn't watch past the ford.

A lot of people died in group B racing and not just the driver and co-driver but spectators as well. This is a good site about Group B if anyone is interested http://www.stormloader.com/groupb/ and this is what usually happened when a group b car crashed http://www.crazycarvids.com/showvideo.php?id=1768 it's not a pretty video to watch but after seeing it you can uderstand why group b was banned.
