Default p 51 intake

ive seen this p-51 intake online and wanted to know what real power it would give a 96 GT, there is a Ford Racing intake manifold running around like $500 more than that and didnt know which would be a better way to go

You won't benefit much from it unless you have a built bottom end.

just buy anyone of the many intake plenums available, there are about 10 different versions by ten different companys, there easy to intall and can give you about 10-12 hp, and 5-8 ft-lbs....not too shaby

On a blown application, I would do the RR intake.

I have seen articles on the p51 and they said the most was right around 16 whp gain. Not enough for 800 bucks

Where have you seen a P51 intake for $800.00? With a built motor, flowing heads and cams, the P51 is well worth it. On a mild bolt on car, you are right...not worth the $$.

Last I saw, they were about $1,000 and you still needed to buy gaskets, fuel rails, etc. VT has the kit for $1,300. $800 would be a great price.

Off topic: Hey code, I see GT_Bob still loves you. Is there some history or does he dislike you in general?
