Default Another spark plug thread

I know there are a ton of them, but I have questions that I haven't seen answered. Short and simple: Are motocraft and autolite the same plugs, and/or made by the same company? I saw brief mention of that in an old thread. Autozone doesn't seem to carry motocraft or NGK, but they do autolite.

Also, is there really a difference between the autolite resistors, and autolite platinum? Other than the price? If I can I'm gonna track down some NGKs, but I think I would have to order them over the internet and I want them sooner than that.

Nearby we only have Autozones, and a couple of small family owned chains...[:@] Not much to choose from.

Ok, I found one local store that is going to hav NGKs. Real quick, NGK's on a stock engine? I'm either going to get the NGKs or get the Autolites.

The money mod is all you'll get. NGK's are good for gassed stang's or a setup that needs colder plugs
