A few questions. What is my stock ration? How much of a difference do gears make? And how much does it kill my MPG? I didn't buy a mustang for good gas mileage but I'm just currious.

gears, tires, short shifter, and ur set

ur stock gearing, if that what u mean is i think 3.27's. gears make a huge difference, depending on what ratio u go with. i have heard of cutting tenths of ur 1/4 time. and u might lose like 1 or 2mpg, nothing to worry about, and dont worry about lowering, u didnt buy a mustang to handle good, but if u want it to look better, lower it.

If that is all you have, then def. look into MGW short throw shifter. It will make you notice it every time that you drive your car.

I thought about a shifter but I thought maybe exhaust, or now maybe some gears would be more important. Are MGW shifters the best?

A midpipe, or a throttle body and plenum.

$200 = short shifter/under drive pulleys... other than that, save up for headers/midpipe/gears =)
