I've been 100% successful in not pulling up next to one! How can my GT compete with an LS1? I have a '99 Automatic Convertible. Mods are a BBK CAI(this costs me about 10HP LOL). PYPES catted X-pipe with PYPES catback w/Race Flow mufflers(the quietest they had-cost me an extra $33 to get them!)
4.10's and Predator tuner. With the 315/35's I just added the gears are finally paying off. Not sure about the tuner as I have read it may actually cost me HP. There is a thread of late that asks about a guys dyno pull and asking for suggestions/opinions where the Predator is put into question so I don't know about that mod though the tranny shifts much better.
That's it. Not sure I should bother with a TB/plenum(BBK75mm and C&L if I do). UDP's seem harmless and may actually help gas mileage and add 5HP.
Either my car is pathetically slow or you guys have big kahuna's! How can low 14's-high 13's beat an LS1?

I have a '99 GT, most bolt ons w/ 3.73 gears

LS1: 3 Me: 3(I'm gonna say thats because they didnt know how to drive)

LT1: 1 Me: 2

L98, 3rd gen f bodies: 0 Me: lost count

It seems like we have a lot of people around here buy muscle cars just to say they have a fast car and never really learn how to drive it. I know all 3 ls1's that I beat could have outrun me because the ones that did were stock. I might not have the fastest car out there, but I make sure I can make it run the best it can.
