First suspension mods?

RE: First suspension mods?
FMS makes some that are probably good, as does Steeda. Lakewood makes some, too, but I haven't heard about their quality. From what I hear, Granatelli is good.
Overall, I'd say stay away from the weight jackers. I've read too many bad things about 'em...

RE: First suspension mods?
Put a set of full length sub-frame connectors, http://www.mustangtuning.com/maximum...onnectors.html , on and you'll swear you put stiffer springs in. Put a set of lower control arms, http://www.mustangtuning.com/maximum...rms-99-04.html , for the best over-all results unless you plan on using it for straight line performance only then go with the uppers and lowers, http://www.mustangtuning.com/staluprecoar.html . After that, lower it and dampen it with a good set of springs/struts/shocks or an air ride like what Air Ride Technologies, http://www.ridetech.com/index.asp , offer. Depending on how much you lower it, go with camber/caster plates, http://www.carjunky.com/shop_cj/bp/r...0d43b5b6c.html , and a bump steer kit, http://www.steeda.com/store/-catalog...mpSteerKit.htm , next. Maybe a set of X2 ball joints, http://www.mustangtuning.com/stx2bajokit.html , and a set of off-set bushings, http://www.partshopper.com/shop/Stee...ings-m128.html , for the rack-n-pinion if you go real low. Then you'll want shorter front sway bar links, http://www.energysuspension.com/pages/must1.html , and a really good alignment job. To get the rear end squared away, go with a pan-hard bar, http://www.mustangtuning.com/maximum...bar-99-04.html , a watts link, http://www.evolutionmsport.com/evmCa...=index&cPath=1 , or a true 5-link like what Steeda offers, http://www.mustangtuning.com/5.html , which has a torque arm included in their kit as well. Of course, with all those rear end mods, you might as well go with a K member, http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku , and a set of coil overs, http://www.racingjunk.com/post/60572...e-Pricing.html , for the front.
Or just get the sub-frame connectors first and see how you like them.

Disclaimer:
I don't have any afilliation with the companies linked above nor do I care if you buy anything that I just spent 10 minutes linking too. Some of not all comonents I linked too I have or have used. The links are for reference to the parts listed only. He!l, if you had that much money to spend on your 'Stang, I'd buy a Z06 and be done with it.

Or,,, you can just install a set of sub-frame connectors and see how you like it.
