Full bolt-ons including long tube headers, cams and one HELL of a tune. I'd be surprised if anyone sees 300rwhp without touching the heads..
A guy I know at a local performance shop in Kenner, LA that had an 01 GT that put down 295hp at the real wheels with just full bolt ons and a tune. He didnt even have headers installed, only Bassani X-pipe and Mangaflow magnpacks. I say he "had" a 01 GT cause he put a Vortech supercharger at 10psi on it and installed his headers, and his third race he blew it lol.

i need to speak to that guy to see how the hell he was pushin 300 hp with that! im not even close, and my car runs great!!

That tune must've done him WONDERS, because I just don't see it happening without headers AND a cam.

I'd be happy with 300 crank HP!
Think about it and add the numbers. 260 to start with. I added a BBK CAI that has to go as it probably lost power but let's say I have a JLT: 10HP. I added a PYPES catted X-pipe and catback which together are good for 10HP. No headers for me. Predator tune, I'll be generous and say 12HP. Got a set of 4.10's but they didn't add any power. Then I got wheels and 315/35 rear tires. Again no HP but they will help the gears to hook so may get me a flat 2 sec 60'. Before we lose track i have added 32HP if I had the JLT intake. UDP's add 5HP and a plenum and TB are good for 7HP. That brings the total to 44HP. That's also the end of bolt ons for me unless there are suggestions. I first wanted to get it so the car ran a 13.5 but it's an automatic and a Convertible so it's the slowest 2v 4.6 platform to start with for '99-'04 4.6's. Mark

unfortunately it doesnt work that way. you cant just add everything up all together, i wish you could. from the mods in my sig and a great tune i gained 25-30 at most!
