with K&n FIPK, Mac prochamber(catback disconnected redneck style) , 93 octane tune i made 312 crank hp...assuming 20% drivetrain loss for automatic, it was ~234 rwhp
Nothing wrong with a little redneck engineering every once in a while.

to be honest though all that will cost alot more than getting properly tuned nitrous set up

with cat back and o/r x pipe and a Nitrous express 4.6l plate kit you can fairly safely make 400-425 crank hp

total cost would be around probably ~500 for exhaust, ~700-900 for kit and safety goodies, and ~500 to get everything tuned in on the dyno

with the N/A set up you are going to spend
probably 1000+ on forged parts alone
~500 for stageII port job on heads
~500 for cams
exhaust 1000+
tuning 500+

all numbers given are assuming you are doing all work yourself(except port work) and you know the right people to get you good prices(below or close to dealer cost)
and the labor for the N/A set up provided you get someone else to do it is WAAAAAAAAAY more expensive than the nitrous route

Full bolt-ons including long tube headers, cams and one HELL of a tune. I'd be surprised if anyone sees 300rwhp without touching the heads..
I put down 303 w/o touching the heads...8-)

thru 4.30 none the less....
if this is rwhp please let me know how its possible. is this full bolt ons with cams??
Yeah it's rwhp...mods are..
C&L Plenum and 85MM MAM
BBK 75MM TB
JLT CAI
VT Stage II NA Cams
Bassani Mid Length Headers
Bassani X WITH Cats
Magnapack Catback
And a Great tune by HPP here in Dallas using a Diablo Revolution chip....

My goal is 300 RWHP. I figure after I get my heads, cam, and clutch I should be right around there.

The one thing I have learned is that HP gains are never what people hope/expect them to be. If I hear "adds 20 HP!!!"...I always drop off the last #...LOL

I'll make sure I post Dyno #'s cuz THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO KNOW FOR SURE!

My plan is to see how much I can get out of this engine by going NA.
