Default Lowering the stang...

For those of you that have/are planning on lowering your mustang... what kind of springs would you reccomend for daily driver use? Eibach? H&R? I was thinking I would do the springs now, leave the shocks and struts stock until they give out and then replace them... Anything I should know before doing this?

I was lookin' at the eibach pro-kit... 1.5 inches front and back. Installing myself. Anything you guys can tell me is appreciated. Thanks!

One more thing... can you do just the springs, or do you need to do cc plates/other stuff for tire wear/alignment?

when i did it all i had was the eibach pro-kits. no new shocks/struts, now cc plates or bumpsteer or anything. the onyl thing is when i get an alignment...its never perfect...the car like always pulls to the right...im thinking about investing in some cc plates. so that MAY be a good investment. but supposedly if its just a 1.5" drop like the pro-kits...you dont need em.

Your in the same boat as me. I plan on leaving the shocks/struts for a little bit. I would go for the h and r's, they give the perfect drop imo. You'll need cc plates. Personally I would get cc plates for any lowered stang.

I will be installing the pro kit pretty soon along with shocks/struts, anti roll bars and cc plates. I'll try to post some pics after its in.

I have the pro kit and at first left the stock shocks and struts. I did not like the ride. I changed them out about 2 weeks later to the Tokico and could not be more happier.
