Default What plugs are you guys/gals running?

i am running the Autolite 764's right now, gapped at .054.... i am in mixed emotion on which one will do me best. i am going to test out a couple different ones here in the next week or so. i was using the TR6's which are one step colder than stock and they worked fine, but will do testing to make sure.

hey i dont know to much about plugs. what are the reasons for colder or hotter plugs. ive alwase used Bosh platinums on my formula 350 worked great. ive also used Bosh but they were the plugs with the 4 gap things lol and they seemed to burn out quick. they were good at first then my car ran crapy a couple months later. fill me in on this subject thanx.

i am also pretty new to the plug thing... don't know much about them, but i know which one I(with my application) should use. i do know blower cars usually run colder plugs. when i do the testing, i am going to hound my tuner with all kinds of questions... spark plug 101[sm=smiley23.gif]

You want to run colder plugs on any forced induction car, whether it be blown, nitrous, or turbo. If you want some really good plugs, try NGK Iridium.

Most people I know run MotorCraft. NGK is good however.

i was told that all you need is a copper plug with the same heat range as stock. N/A that is... thats why i went with the Autolite 764's
