If you let the car redline when downshifting.... No matter what you have X or H, you will get a pop here and there.

H's tend to pop a lot more than X's though. I have never really heard my o/r X pop, VERY rarely will I get a little one, even when I try to. I just get a nice gurgle on the downshift and it sounds amazing.

I have a VRS o/r X... I love it. vrsexhaust.com.

MEEBIX hey i was thinking about an X pipe instead of an H but I dont want raspy, if your sounds good, do you have a sound clip? or can you make one? also what catback exhaust do you have? i have the american thunder flowmasters. I was wondering if these sounded good with the flows. and do you have catted X because I would probly need a catted X

your stang sounds nice but you have LT's also so i still dont know if i want a X or H.....this sucks.......i want the X real bad just because you get more hp throughout the RPM's but i want a deep rumble not a rasp.....i also have to have cats on it and there arent many H pipes with cats. and their not cheap,,,,i might even say screw it and go with a offroad and just swap it out every time for e-check and just put my oem mid pipe in the garage. what do you guys think? should i just get o/r and swap every two years or should i get with cats and no hassle? what is the difference with cats and without? is it that big of a difference?

like if you want the max hp, dont even worry about the difference between the H and X they are almost identical, i have a mac prochamber (H) it is a bad *** sounding midpipe, but it is catless, and i dont have emissions worries so if you do, i wouldnt bother changing back and forth for the extra 2 hp you MIGHT get..unless you are running a serious engine, you will lose low end torque without cats...its a proven fact, every car...its all with the backpressure...
