Default As simple as spark plugs

Hey fellow Stang owners:
I learned a really valuable lesson last week. About a year ago I got this brain storm to put Bosch platinum 4 prong plugs in my 02 GT. I didn't notice any difference when I changed them, but I really didn't expect to. During this year I did a ton of work on my car and finally in July I was really satisfied with my performance. I had Diablo write me a tune and they emailed it to me, then I used the interface to upload it to my Diablo Predator hand held. Then I loaded it into the car and wow did it run nice. From there I fine tuned a few things with the tuner, Timing. fuel mixture and after weeks of fine tuning I hit it perfect. I really believe that for what I have... I couldn't get anymore out of it. About 2 weeks ago I noticed the car was a bit sluggigish. We had some really hot and humid weather here so I thought maybe the humidity may be the problem. Last week I had to take a road trip, and I live in PA which has alot of big hills in the road system. The first hill I hit I thought I felt a miss then it happened a few more times and my power sucked. I remember reading somewhere that those multi pronged platinum plugs were a POS and you were better off to put plain old Champions or Motorcraft in. So I went to the Auto parts store on the way home and bought Champions. My son and I put them in a few days ago. I noticed a difference right away in town. I took it on that big hill where it was missing last week... all the way up in 5th gear no miss, and tons of power. When I pulled the plugs out the wear was normal on all cylinders. The Champions are gapped at .053 and I looked at the Bosch and there was no way too get a gap like that because of their design, even in the center of the 4 prongs it's not possible with out changing the legnth of the plug, which I don't want to do.

I am really curious to hear if any of you guys or girls have tried the Bosch 4 prong plugs. Let me know your opinions
Thanks

Steve

I'd always throw a "random misfire" code when I had some in my Camaro.
