just wondering if the GT has a knock sensor. thanks for ahead for your input. was told yes and no, so i thought i go straight to the source.

Knock sensor? Like pinging? Detonation?

To my knowledge, the only 4.6 to get a knock sensor is the DOHC ones, like in the Cobras. You can't even get to them without pulling the intake off, its actually under it lol. So, no - I don't believe any GT's have knock sensors.
