I was reading an article at the local Borders a few nights ago where they compared the "new" GTO, or should I say "Holden Monaro" and a Cobra. I wish I could remember the name of the magazine but at my age, it fails me. To make a long story short, the Cobra spanked it, but the Monaro recieved the nod for Interior "freshness" heh....Ok, so we have a 10 year old body style vs a 2001 design. No biggie.

No one short of a Cobra owner that gets beat by a Monaro should NEVER hold their heads in shame. In fact, I have to hand it to you all for the Ballsy factore. These Monaro owners should not be so cocky by beating a GT....They should look for a Cobra!!

BTW, Hemmings list the 1/4 @ 13.8 seconds @ 104 miles Not real stellar for a car that is supposed to be in the Cobras class

They have ran 13.1's 100% bone stock.

Don't believe everything you read in magazines.

If I can ever get traction I believe I can pull better than a 13.8... but traction for me is a big issue right now.

You can do way better than 13.8

I have minimal mods and ran 13.8@104mph.

I need some traction and a better track though I believe. All I do is spin!!! I hate that! LOL
