A couple of my buddies have 300zx's and they will all admit that my car is faster. It's an 00GT, dropped 2" w/ full MAC exhaust. I've raced all of them and i can beat them by an average of about 3-4 cars. My question is, what is the route to go if i wanna totally embarass them when i race them?? Keep in mind i'm on a tight budget and i'm kinda afraid of going down the nitrous route. I'm kinda thinking what all can i do in the way of bolt-ons?? Ooooh yea, i also have a set of 4.10's waitin to be put in, not like they're doing any good sittin in the box tho......

Plop a few bolt-ons, but really the 4.10's should be good enough to blow them away.

ur racing a 300zx? is it a TT? if its the N/A ur fine. but if u want to embarrase them, put in the 4.10's and make sure u can hook, and u will rape them. my buddy has a 300zx and its not that fast, nothing compared to the 99-04gt's.

well i do do know a few guys that have TT 300zx's, and it'd be really cool if i could blow their doors off too. Supercharging is nothing more than a fantasy for me seeing as i'm very pressed for cash. I only got about $1000, what should i spend it on?

Yeah, the 4.10's will help. You said you have a full exhaust, so you should definately get a full in take system (CAI, TB, plenum) to complement that, if you haven't already. Also consider a tuner.

Dont be afraid of the giggle gas. It's not as bad as everyone makes it seem. Even a 75 shot will be plenty to blow their doors off. If your really that nervous then gears and tires will do the trick.

Update your rear suspension with new arms to help you hook up a bit better. Mustang & Fords got their 260hp Mustang into the 12's with nothing more than suspension, gears, and CAI/Exhaust.
